The updated Cricket Leinster All Ireland rankings have little real change at the top with Clontarf conifrming their top ranking, with three wins on the bounce since their league defeat to North County. Instonians and Waringtown are keeping up the chase, although the five point gaps between first and second means that it is going to be a while before Instonians can even think about taking over at the top.
Whilst the top five is stable, the positions between five and ten are distinctly changeable, with Pembroke's tough season seeing them drop from 6th to 9th, after losses to Clontarf and Railway Union.
The three biggest movers on the chart see one club from each of the three biggest unions making their presence felt. In Leinster, North Kildare beat Rush by 9 wickets, before going down to Division 2 champions elect Merrion. Those two results combined saw them move up by 2.9 points, and up one place to 40th.
In the North West, Ballyspallen had a brilliant weekend, beating Burndennett by 164 runs and then Glendermott by 8 wickets - moving up 7 places to 42nd. Result of the week may well go down to the NCU's Armagh who went in a top of the table clash with Holywood, and came out with the points after a massive 188 run win. Their ranking went up by 4.75 and saw them move up to 38th.
