It is the time of the year when the OCC and the Womens Section collect up the trophies from last years winners for presentation at the LCU Awards Dinner [12th October]. This year we have decided to do things a little differently so clubs are asked to take notice.
Rather than asking each club to get any trophies it holds cleaned and engraved, if the trophies are returned in time the LCU will arrange to do this. Further, any clubs that wants to return trophies won this year can also return them for engraving. The league trophies and personal awards will be presented at the Awards Dinner, any trophies for cup competitions won’t be presented again but can be collected at the dinner.
The arrangements are as follows:
- trophies can be delivered to Leinster Cricket Club [Rathmines] to arrive before 28th September. In all such cases Paul Reynolds should be notified in advance that the trophies are being delivered.
- trophies can be delivered directly to the engravers on or before the 28th September. The trophies should be marked for the attention of Esme Murphy and delivered to MMI Group, Insignia House, JFK Park, Bluebell, Dublin 12. When delivering a trophy who will be given a receipt. It would help if you let Paul Reynolds [OCC] or Sharon Smyth [Women] know that you have delivered the trophy to MMI
Clubs do not need to worry about providing the details of the engraving, the LCU will organise this for all competitions.
