The final look at the performances of clubs in the OC in 2016 focusses on the league positions at the end of the season for clubs with three of more teams. While on its own the ranking of all the teams in a club does not tell us much, combined with the Win/Loss ratio it gives a reasonable indication of how well the teams in a club have performed having regard to the strength of the divisions they are in. For those that are prepared to wait for the figures to come out each year it is also an interesting insight into whether a club is improving its league performance or not.
The table below gives the overall club positions [with the first club in the OC ranked as 126 and the last as 0]. The clubs with more teams will likely have more points so the aggregate figure is averaged per team. Finally, for clubs with multiple teams there is a combined score for the top three and then the top five teams in the club. YMCA / Merrion / Clontarf in that order have the highest placed top three teams and Merrion / YMCA / Clontarf the top five teams.
