With the new season slowly getting underway a few games between divisions 3 and 16 have been called off due to weather, some during the week leading up to the match and others being called off on the day. As you would all know all games can be refixed.
If a match is called off you need to contact the following people as soon as possible: Paul Reynolds admin@cricketleinster.ie (Website Administrator), Peter Thew thewpeter@gmail.com(Umpires Appointments Secretary) and the OCC Secretary opencomps@cricketleinster.ie with the match details in the subject heading.
You then have 7 days from the match date to organise a refix otherwise this match is deemed to be a no result. The home club should provide their OCC representative three re-fix dates. This will be offered to the away club by the OCC member and one of those dates must be accepted.
If a club is seeking a postponement due to anything other than a weather related issue then they need to contact myself no less than 3 days before the match stating the reason why. If it is a valid reason then the refix process can begin. This is the same protocol for wanting an earlier start time.
