Although Division 1 ended at the end of August, many league titles still have a long way to go. In fact of the 46 "promotion" and "relegation" places from Division 3 down, only thirteen places are confirmed. Here we have a look at who may be filling the 33 other places that are still up for grabs.
At the end of the season, the OCC will decide on the league structures for 2015, and any discussion on here of promotion or relegation does not confirm in any way where teams will be playing next season!
Division 14
Leinster 7 visit Wicklow County 2 on Saturday. Wicklow are already champions. If Leinster win well they will overtake Mullingar to grab the 2nd promotion spot. Otherwise Mullingar wil finish runners up. Three teams are trying to avoid the ignominy of finishing bottom of the league pile. Balbriggan 3 have an unreported game against Wicklow County 2, so their fate is already nailed down. They should be safe though, as Phoenix 6 and Civil Service 4 play off on Sunday. The losers are favourites to finish bottom
Division 13
A long way to go in Division 13, and it is unlikely that the promotion/relegation issues will be decided this weekend. The top 2 spots are between Dundrum 3, Laois 3, North Kildare 3 and Adamstown 4. There are two outstanding Rush cards (vs Sandyford and Dundrum) which make this one difficult to sort out. Adamstown/Dundrum still has to be refixed, and Adamstown/Castleknock is not to be played until the 20th.
At the bottom, those two missing Rush cards are crucial. On paper, the two spots are still between Rush 4, Dundalk 2, Sandyford 3 and Castleknock 3. Hopefullu Rush sort out the missing cards!
Division 12
Another league with a lot of games to be played. Bagenalstown play Adamstown on Saturday and Swords play Halverstown on Sunday. All we can say is that the top two positions are between Adamstown 3, Merrion 7, Halverstown 1 and Swords 2. The bottom two spots are between Swords 2 (who can still go up or down - although have a few cards that are very late), Phoenix 5, Pembroke 6, Railway Union 6 and Bagenalstown 2
Division 11
A ferociously tight league, with three teams capable of the league (Lucan 1, Longford 2 and Adamstown 2) and Cabinteely 1 in search of the other promotion spot. Cabinteely play Longford on Saturday, whilst Adamstown play Leinster on Sunday and have an un-arranged game against The Hills.
At the bottom, Leinster 6 and North County 5 are already down
Division 10
Slieve Bloom confirmed their league title last week. The second spot is between Merrion 6 and Railway Union 5. Railway don't play their crucial last game against YMCA until September 21.
The bottom is a lot more complicated. Mathematically, any of the bottom six could still be relegated
Division 9
A massive amount of uncertainty in Divison 9, with twelve matches still to be decided. The top two places are between Phoenix 4, North County 4 and Greystones 2. Greystones still have six results to add to their league tally (two to be played, one to be refixed and three that the scorecard is absent)
The bottom is even more confused, and more cards are needed before we have any idea who can go down. Only Phoenix, North County and Sandyford are definitely safe
Division 8
Eleven matches still to be decided, so another league with a long way to go. The league title is between Leinster 4, Knockharley 2, Bagenalstown 1, Civil Service 2 and YMCA 4, whilst Wicklow County 1 can also be promoted.
At the other end, Dundalk 1 are already down, with the other spot between YMCA 4 and The Hills 3
Division 7
The Division 7 title is between Adamstown 1 and Laois 2. Adamstown play Merrion 5 on Saturday, whilst Laois interestingly have matches against Balbriggan and Wexford that are still not even arranged. Merrion 5 also have a chance for runners up spot, but will need to beat Adamstown
Balbriggan 2 seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. They have three games to be re-arranged, as well a scorecard that is missing. It seems likley that Balbriggan 2 and Dublin University 2 will be relegated
Division 6
An easy one to call. Knockharley host Longford on Sunday. Knockharley need five points - if they get them they are Division 6 champions. Otherwise they will be runners up. Phoenix 3 are waiting in the wings should the slip up. Castleknock 2 are already relegated. They will be joined by either Longford, Railway Union 4 or North Kildare 2
Division 5
Malahide 3 are champions and they will be joined in Division 4 by Greystones 1. At the bottom, Merrion 4 play Clontarf 3 on September 21st. The loser will go down, to be joined by either the winner, Railway Union 3 or North County 3
Division 4
Phoenix 2 are Division 4 champions, and will return to Divison 3 next year. They will be joined by one of Merrion 3, Railway Union 2, YMCA 3 or Malahide 3. Crucial games this weekend are a YM/Malahide doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday with Railway playing Mullingar on Sunday.
At the bottom Pembroke 3 and Mullingar 1 are already relegated
Division 3
Clontarf 2 are guaranteed a top two spot .They will be joined by one of YMCA 2 or The Hills 2. At the bottom Civil Service are going back down to Division 4. They will be joined by anyone in the league apart from Clontarf and YMCA. It is that close!
Leinster play The HIlls on Sunday, whilst North Kildare play North County on the same day. The division will be decided when YMCA play a triple header on the 20th and 21st of September
