Over the past few years cricket has moved from being a minority and niche interest to become a high profile sport in Ireland. In Leinster the sport is growing with both the number of clubs and players increasing each year. The sport is inclusive and has a strong youth and community appeal.
The Leinster Cricket Union is seeking to develop the sport further and is looking for business partners to work with it to this end. Specifically there are a number of opportunities for companies to sponsor competitions and other aspects of cricket development next season.
From a commercial perspective there are openings for businesses to gain access to an active and involved cricketing community through the Cricket Leinster website and in other ways. At a local level, in conjunction with over 30 affiliated cricket clubs in Leinster, there are opportunities for direct community involvement.
If anyone is interested or is in a position to provide an introduction from a business, there are asked to contact the Honourary Secretary of the LCU, Mary Sharp, at msharp@scss.tcd.ie
