PEMBROKE’S FORBES WINS MOST IMPROVED WOMEN’S PLAYER AWARD

The final award which will be confirmed in advance of the CL Awards Night and Gala Dinner has been announced by the outgoing Women’s Committee.

Pembroke’s Sarah Forbes has earned the award for the Most Improved Player in Women’s Competitions in the 2024 season.

Having joined Pembroke at the start of the season, Sarah proved to be a cornerstone of the club’s success in winning the CL Women’s Division One title for 2024.

In doing so, Sarah amassed 394 runs at an average of 56.29 per innings. She backed this up with 20 wickets at just 13.25 per wicket. In doing so, Sarah doubled her run aggregate and tripled her haul of wickets over the previous season.

Sarah’s performances at club and Super Series level also earned her International appearances against both Sri Lanka and England during her summer.
