PRE-SEASON CL COACHING COURSES (TO END MARCH)

Cricket Leinster would like to remind all clubs of the scheduled Coaching Courses taking place before end March 2023.

These courses are both certified and ideal preparation for anyone intending to pursue a club coaching role during the 2023 season.

CL COACHING KIDS (5-11 YEARS)

Course Date: Next Saturday 4th March 

Time: 10am - 4.30pm

Venue: Castleknock College

This certified 'Coaching Kids 5-11 years' course run by Cricket Leinster is aimed at coaches who are or will be coaching cricket to kids aged 5-11 years. The course is designed to provide new and emerging coaches with the knowledge and skills to deliver child-centred, safe, fun, and age-appropriate coaching sessions.

Participants must be aged 14 or over on the day of the course.

All participants will receive a comprehensive workbook with guidance on technique as well as drills and games.

CL COACHING CRICKET

Course Dates: March 25th & 26th (Saturday and Sunday)

Time: 10am - 5pm both days

Venue: The King's Hospital, Palmerstown Sports Hall

Min. Age: 18 on the day of the course

This certified 'Coaching Cricket' course is aimed at coaches aged 18 and above, who want to coach club or school players aged over 11years. The course is designed to provide new and emerging coaches with the knowledge and skills to deliver player centred, enjoyable, and safe coaching support with an appropriate focus on cricket skills and long-term player development. 

All participants will receive a comprehensive workbook with guidance on technique as well as drills and games.

Having completed both days of the course, including an assessment on the second day, and sending us your up to date Garda Vetting and Safeguarding 1 certs you will then be issued a certificate of completion.
