The quarter finals of the Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup and the National Cup bought about some heavyweight clashes, and the movements in our rankings reflect those results.
It was Instonians who really missed an opportunity, beating CIYMS in the Irish Senior Cup but losing to them in the league. Two wins would have seen them edging up to the 130 mark, but as it was they slipped back slightly and have been overtaken in second place by fellow NCU side Waringstown.
Waringstown took the big scalp of Merrion for the second time in the last three meetings, and returned to the top of the NCU pile - becoming the number one ranked team in the NCU once more.
CIYMS actually increased their rating - a win and a loss against the number two ranked side on the island (before the weekend) being a decent return, moving from 7th to 5th. They overtake The Hills and YMCA - The Hills beat Balbriggan, but with Balbriggan's lowly status, the points awarded for the win did little for The Hills' total.
Pembroke were the fourth quarter final winner, and the defeat of North Down sees them move up to 8th, with North Down dropping to a lowly 13th.
In the National Cup, Derriaghy beat Knockharley to move up to 28th, Terenure stayed at 35 after beating Rush (who moved down to 29th) and Malahide stayed at 30th after disposing of Midleton.
The semi final draws show Waringstown (2nd) favourites at home to Pembroke (8th) and The Hills (7th) underdogs at home to Instonians (3rd).
In the National Cup, Malahide (30th) will host Derriaghy (28th), whilst Terenure (35th) will host Strabane (27th) or County Kerry (unranked)
