The relegation battle in Division 12 looks straightforward on the surface, but probably deserves a closer inspection.
Dundalk 2 are well off the pace at the bottom, and then one from Leinster 6, Pembroke 6 or Clontarf 6 will probably join them. With plenty of games left to be played, only Phoenix 5 and Adamstown 2 are actually safe from relagtion - even first placed Swords 2 could still be relegated!
Dundalk would need to win each of their last four matches. The crucial ties at the bottom look to be the two matches between Pembroke and Leinster. If one of those won both their matches, the loser would surely go down.
At the top, Adamstown 2 lead the way, but it is tight between them , Swords 2, Phoenix 5 and Lucan 1. Swords play Adamstown on September 7th. All are in with a good chance, and all for all four teams promotion would be a great performance - Swords, Adamstown and Lucan are all new(ish) clubs embarking on an exciting future, and Phoenix despite being the oldest of all, are starting to re-develop, and are looking like one of the highest acheiving clubs of 2013
