With Division 13 being one of the five nine team leagues, there is still a long way to go. Despite that one team, Dublin Universoty 3 has already finished its fixtrures, packed away the kit, and is merely waiting for the other teams to try and catch them.
Twelve wins from their 16 matches has seen Trinity 3 finish their program with 76.27%. Dundrum 3 and Railway Union 6 can still both catch them, although they will need to win all of their games (in Dundrum's case) or at least three from four in Railway's case to catch the students (and assorted staff and postgrads).
North Kildare 3 and Rush 4 also have an outside chance of the second promotion place, but that would be near miraculous.
At the other end of the table, it looks that two from Sandyford 3, Laois 4, Knockharley 3 or Civil Service 4 will go down to Division 14, although only the top 3 are mathematically safe. The next major game in the relegation battle is the Laois 4/Civil Service 4 match on August 24
