Promotion from Division 9 looks to be pretty well sorted with Dundalk and Adamstown due to go up based on scheduled matches. Both teams have matches today and are on the same percentage so the title is still up for grabs. Terenure III and YMCA IV are relegated.
In D10 first plays second with Leinster VI taking on Sandyford II with the title at stake. Cabinteely and Pembroke V are relegated .
There are still five matches to be played in D11 and the season extends to next weekend. Knockharlety II take on Clontarf today to win the title. A loss, however, could drop them below Railway IV who have no more matches scheduled. North County amazingly have three more matches to play and could, mathematically, escape relegation but this has to be counted as very unlikely. Unless they win all three and get a hatful of bonus points they will be relegated and be joined in D12 next year by North Kildare III
D12 has been a two horse race for some time and with Greystone’s win against Wexford II last weekend they are champions and are promoted along with Wexford. Phoenix V and Dundlak II both have matches this weekend but it would require a 50 point swing to move Dundalk out of the relegation zone and above Phoenix. Pembroke VI are already relegated.
Ring Commons have won D13 with a match to spare and they will be joined by Leinster VII.in D12. Railway Union V and Knockharley III are relegated.
And finally D14 where Dundrum III are champions and Clonee II promoted.
A few caveats. I have only taken into account the matches scheduled in Fixtures. I have also not taken into account where teams are forced down or cannot be promoted because of the fate of another team in the club. This is something that has to be sorted by the OCC at the end of the season. Finally, as usual do your own calculations if you want to base your tactics on the number of points you need to get promoted or avoid relegation.
