Although the final resolution of issues of promotion and relegation will have to await decisions by clubs and the OCC, the picture in terms the winners and runners up in the RSA Open Competitions is pretty much settled. There is only one match in D4 that might impact on a runners up position.
Leaving aside D1, where no other outcome is possible, it is perhaps worth noting that across the different leagues no less than seven 1st XI won their leagues. Three other 1st XI teams were runners up. This shows a welcome spread of honours across the Open Competitions.
Leinster and Dundrum shared the honour of most wins [two each] with Leinster also securing a runners up spot. Balbriggan and Sandyford also did very well with their 1st and 2nd XI getting promoted.
