Schools-to-Club in South Dublin Area

Almost 3,500 participants in South Dublin Schools Cricket in 2020

Although there was only approximately 42% delivery time available in the schoo year in 2020 when compared to a normal year, our engagement levels remained high throughout the year as we combined on-line engagement with our physical presence in the school-yards.

In that context, we were able to expand our programme to include delivery to younger age groups than previously which sets us up well for momentum in 2021.

When we combine the information from clubs along with the new statistics available in 2020 from the registration of youth cricketers, we can see encouraging data which indicates that an increasing number of young people from South Dublin schools are joining clubs and making cricket one of their sporting choices.
