Cricket Leinster is delighted to announce the Individual Award Winners for the 2022 season in respect of the Second XI Premier League.
Each of these awards will be presented at the CL Awards Night & Gala Dinner on 20 January in the iconic Round Room at the Mansion House.

In addition, all League winning teams will be presented with their Trophies & Medals at this event.
Bookman Cup (Batting Award)
This trophy will be awarded to Aaron McGeehan of Clontarf CC who scored almost 500 runs at an excellent average of 54.89 including 2 hundreds & 2 fifties with a best of 130 not out.
Other players of note include Aaron Doyle of Malahide CC and Joe Prendergast of Pembroke CC.
The trophy itself was presented by Rosa Bookman in 1943 in memory of her husband (Louis)
The trophy has been won by fifty-four players, several more than once. Michael Murphy of Man-o-War/North County won it on six occasions.
Oulton Cup (Bowling Award)
The Oulton Cup winner for 2022 is Joe Prendergast of Pembroke CC who amassed 21 wickets for Pembroke 2nds at an average of just 15.33 and a best bowling of 6-36.
Also worthy of mention is Daniel Forkin of Merrion CC who recorded a best bowling of 5-33 with an average of 19.10.
The trophy was donated by J G Oulton in 1946. He was a distinguished member of Clontarf CC and President of the then Leinster Cricket Union from 1946 to 1951. J G Oulton lived in Clontarf Castle from 1933 until his passing in 1952.
Webster Cup (All-Rounder Award)
Joe Prendergast of Pembroke CC will also be awarded the Webster Cup as the top all rounder in the Second XI Premier League for 2022. In addition to his bowling performance, Joe also scored over 300 runs including a best of 136.
The trophy is in memory of Willie Webster who was an excellent all-round cricketer at Senior 2 level for his club (Civil Service CC). He was a member of the Civil Service teams which did the Senior 2 League & Cup double in 1964 and also won the Senior 2 Cup in 1969. He was also a hard working administrator for his club at LCU Junior Branch level. At the time is his sudden passing in 1995, he was Chair of the Junior Branch Committee. To commemorate him this Cup was presented by his family later that year.
Willie was also for many years the main organiser of the Dublin Business Houses cricket competition. He was a member of the ESB teams which won this trophy for the first time in 1973 and again in 1983 and 1984.
Carmel Cullen Cup (Wicket-Keeping Award)
The wicket-keeping cup for the Second XI Premier League will be awarded to Elliott Johns of YMCA CC who achieved 18 dismissals as keeper (15 catches, 3 stumpings).
Carmel donated this trophy in order to ensure appropriate recognition for wicket-keepers at this level and is a testament to her support of cricket in Leinster and Ireland (both at home and overseas)
Second XI Premier League - Fielding Award
The Second XI Premier League fielding medal will be awarded to Timcy Khanduja who took 11 catches across the season.
