Cricket Leinster's statistical records were meticulously kept by Derek Scott and Gerry Byrne over many years, enabling us to have an amazing view on the past, and how the current generations of cricketers in Leinster compare.
Of course comparisons over generations are futile, but to many supporters of the game (and the players themselves), how their career develops can be fascinating, placing players in their club's history forever.
The term "Senior Cricket" relates to all full length (ie time cricket and limited overs competitions longer than T20) played in the higher levels of Leinster cricket since 1919. The current definition includes the Premier League, Championship and Leinster Senior Cup, but would exclude the Irish Senior Cup, the National Cup and the Alan Murray Cup.
The following milestones have been broken by players so far this season (correct to September 4).
