Taverners/Social Cricket for 2020

Cricket Leinster would like to establish a Focus Group to explore how best we can further support the growth and development of Taverner's & Social Cricket in 2020 and beyond.

There are already many well-established Taverner's teams and we are keen to see how we can build on this as an increasingly popular form of the game.

In 2019, we established a successful process for social cricketers to register with Cricket Leinster and thereby access our Personal Accident Insurance Programme.

Amongst other things, this new Focus Group will address:
- How we can further support existing Taverner's/Social Cricket- How we can promote the game to a wider audience- How we can attract new teams/clubs to participate in the game

Our plan is that this Group will meet a couple of times aimed at developing a plan for 2020 as soon as possible including some dedicated support from Cricket Leinster. 

Our first such meeting will take place on Thursday 13th February 2020 at 7.30pm (Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan).
