With Wicklow County's results from the last month now in, we can look at how Division 8 is panning out.
The top five teams are still in with a chance of promotion, although it is Adamstown 1 and Dundrum 2 that lead the way, and they will take some stopping. Adamstown need 21 points from their last three matches to be promoted, or 24 points to win the league. .
Dundrum's last match is this Saturday, but is against Adamstown, which gives Dundalk 1, Malahide 4 and The Hills 3 a glint of hope.
The bottom six teams in the league (from Dundalk 1 down) can also be relegated, but again, whilst mathematically possible, is not likely. Five wins is normally needed for safety, and Leinster 4 need to beat Dundalk, The Hills and Wicklow County to achieve that, which ain't going to happen.
Civil Service 2 play Wicklow County 1 on Sunday, and whoever loses that will probably join Leinster 4
Note - The article originally said that the crucial Malahide vs Adamstown card was outstanding. The match is due to be refixed after being postponed due to the ODI preparations in Malahide
