Now the turn of the bowlers, and it's pretty tight at the top. The top 30 is covered by only nine wickets, a figure that Sandeep Sood of Civil Service took in one innings against Malahide 5ths on July 3rd. So with a bit of luck, anyone in that Top 30 could hit top spot this weekend!
Faran Khan of Pembroke holds on to top spot, his 29 wickets at 12.45 coming mainly for Pembroke's 3rd and 4th teams. However, Khan only leads by virtue of a better average than that old stager, Nick Jagoe of Railway Union - his 29 wickets coming at a slightly more expensive 15.17.
Sandeep Sood comes in at the number three spot - his day in the sun in that Malahide match propelling him up the table - 27 wickets at the fairly incredible average of 5.85. The next five are all well known for various exploits this year (or in previous years) - Richard Hastie (Wicklow Co), Yaqoob Ali (YMCA), Sanjay Saharan (Merrion), Adam Coughlan (North County) and Conor Shiel (also North County).
