Course details -
The UKCC ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults Course is a qualification that aims to further develop and certify the coaching that people are currently undertaking at club or school. It aims to give people a chance to practice Micro-group / Peer coaching and it also delves deeper into the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the game.
- 4 x 6 hour coaching course
- On course practical and theoretical elements
- Peer coaching practice throughout the course
- Online Multiple-Choice Assessment
- 6 Supported sessions required, which are signed-off by senior coaches
- Pre-requisities required are First Aid, Safeguarding (an online Safeguarding Course is provided on the ECB eLearning Platform) and Garda Vetting Police Check – Garda Vetting and Safeguarding to be in date for 3 years prior to your final assessment and First Aid to be in date for 2 years prior to you final assessment.

Intro Eve: Wednesday 15th March 2017 - 630pm to 930pm - Cricket Ireland, Dublin Office, Unit 22 Grattan Business Park, Clonshaugh, Dublin 17
Day 1: Sunday 19th March 2017 - 930am to 430pm - St Mary's College, Rathmines
Day 2: Sunday 26th March 2017 - 930am to 430pm - St Mary's College, Rathmines
Day 3: Sunday 2nd April 2017 - 930am to 430pm - St Mary's College, Rathmines
Cost: €280 (incl. CICA membership for 2017) or if you would like to not avail of CICA membership as part of the course costs, it will bring the cost down to €250.
