It has been decided that Umpire Education will now come under the accreditation of the ICC Education system, ensuring that all umpires will have a globally recognised accreditation.
This new system runs and operates as follows:
COURSES IN 2025
Online learning is conducted via the ICC EdApp platform which can be operated via app or desktop.
Anyone wishing to participate on any Umpire Course in 2025 will need to sign up, register via Ed App and complete the ICC Umpire Foundation Course before applying to participate on a Level One course within their respective Regional association in 2025.

We are also running two different batches for the courses and whoever is interested in umpiring can register and attend any one of these courses.

FAQ
Do I need to attend for 4 days?
No, you do not, the umpiring Level one course is just a 2 day in person training course. So you can choose which weekend suits you and register for either course-1 or Course-2.
I am not available for both the days, can I mix and match across 2 batches?
No, you need to be physically be present both the days on either Course-1 ( 1st and 2nd of Feb) OR Course-2 ( 8th and 9th of Feb).
Do I need to do anything before attending the course?
Yes, as mentioned above complete the section in the APP (EDAPP)
Any chance these courses can be online?
No, you need to be physically present to attend these courses.
