I am currently a full time student attending Queen's College, Taunton in England. It is a fantastic school, I've made many friends since my arrival here in mid-April. The standard of cricket is quite good over here, the other schools prove good opposition which make us play to the best of our ability. Arul Suppiah (former Somerset professional cricketer) & Angus Hamilton are our coaches who are very experienced cricketers which helps our team. The facilities at Queen’s are second to none and as you would expect the wickets are very good also. I would love if there was a potential tour by Queen's to Ireland to experience what the standard is like away from England. I've really enjoyed my time at Queen's College to date, I have managed to do ok so far for the 1st XI and hopefully it gets even better for the remaining few games. It has been a great experience. Thanks again to those at Cricket Leinster who have set up this new player placement arrangement. We (Stephen Doheny spent time here last year) are very grateful.
