The Cricket Leinster Women’s Committee is delighted to announce the structures for the 2023 Season.
Once again we are delighted that all our league and cup competitions will be sponsored by Sprint Coatings Ltd, with thanks to Alan Maginnis in particular for this ongoing support. This support greatly assists the women’s committee in delivering on our expansion plans and is especially welcome during these challenging times
For the 2023 season the number of competing teams rises to 33. In particular we are delighted to welcome Adamstown who will play a full season and a second team from Balbriggan.
This continued expansion is a testament to the development work by the Cricket Leinster development staff and by club coaches. The broad focussed development programmes that support women’s cricket are unrivalled in their success in terms of increasing participation and retaining female players in the game.
