Workshop Reminder
Just a reminder that there will be a workshop this evening for anyone intersted in eScoring. See below
Every weekend more cricket matches across Leinster are scored using a tablet [usually an iPad] or a computer. In some cases this is for the purpose of sending the updated score to a website so that anyone with a mobile phone can follow what is going on. In other cases eScoring is used as an additional check for the scorer who is also managing a scorebook or is used to upload scorecards to Cricket Leinster at the end of the day. In virtually all cases the software used is called Total Cricket Scorer [TCS for short].
Cricket Leinster has decided to hold a workshop [open to anyone] who is either using TCS or is interested in trying it out. The workshop will explain how to set up TCS and link it to the Cricket Leinster website for Live Scores, how to submit match results / scorecards at the end of the match and experienced users will take you through a match - dealing with a range of eventualities from correcting errors [they do happen] to dealing with DL.
The workshop will take place on 14th July in Railway Union [6.30 - 8.30]. There is no charge. If you have an iPad [or a laptop] with TCS installed bring it along and you will be able to score the match as we go along. If you don’t have TCS you may be able to borrow an iPad from your club but if not you will still be able to follow the proceeding on a screen.
To make it easier to plan for the numbers attending, it would be appreciated if people wishing to attend could let us know in advance. Send confirmation to
